L.I.T. Construction Skills Training Program

During this 12-week program, participants will learn various skills in the construction industry. Trainees accepted into this program will learn from veteran construction business experts both, in-class, and on active job sites.

Trainees will work as paid helpers and will cross-train with two or more subcontractors, in different fields, during this 12-week program. Trainees will also learn how to become an entrepreneur in the construction industry.

Construction Skills Training Offered

During this program, participants will learn constructions skills both, in-class and on-site. They will train in at least two of the following fields:

Plumbing
Electrical
Framing
Drywall
Roofing
Painting
Landscaping

Trainees will be placed in a cross-training situation based on their feedback, and the feedback of the subcontractor with whom they are working.

We will do our best to locate and secure gainful employment once the trainee successfully completes this program.
